RIVER TEST, HAMPSHIRE: Picture of a brown trout and a mallard. A HILARIOUS picture of a rainbow trout fighting a duck for food has been captured on camera in the River Test in Hampshire. Pictures show the unsuspecting rainbow trout posing in front of the camera, while the clearly ‘quackers’ companion dived into the shot just behind it. Other pictures show the mallard cosying up with a brown trout in a bid to get some of snacks floating around in water. British photographer Paul Colley (56) was able to capture the extraordinarily rare inter-species interactions by using an underwater camera system he designed and built himself.
